image00141) SJBA’s Sunday Dhamma School (SDS) 2015 is open for student registration, online, effective 1 Nov 2014. The Buddhist classes will be conducted in three (3) sessions, as follows:
Session A: 9.00am to 10.30am

Session B: 10.30am to 12.00pm

Session C: 12.00pm to 1.30pm

Classes will commence on Sunday, 4 January 2015. Classes are open to children in Standard 1 to Form 3. New students as well as existing students are required to register online via:

2) SJBA will be celebrating this New Year Eve with a 8-course Appreciation Dinner in SJBA to thank our members and devotees for the selfless and tireless services to SJBA Vihara. The evening shall start with Puja at 7.30pm. Dinner is served at 8.00pm (sharp). During dinner there will be performances, karaoke competition and lots of prizes and lucky draws. At midnight, there will be a firework display to mark the countdown to welcome a New Year.

Time : 7.30pm to Midnight Dinner

Ticket : RM380 per table or RM38 per pax – FULLY SOLD We apologise to those who are not able to get any more ticket because the tickets are already fully sold. However, light refreshment will be provided from 8.00pm to those without tickets but wish to come and join us for the countdown.

3) This Sunday (28/12/15) Dhamma Talk on “Buddhism & Philosophy: The Kalama Sutta” will be given by Bro Billy Tan. Bro. Billy Tan is a Professional Trainer and Business Development Consultant who has trained countless corporate executives and business professionals in more than 20 countries over the past three decades. Bro. Billy is a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), as well as being certified by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, USA, in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

In recent years Bro. Billy has conducted several professional training programs for resident and visiting Monks at the Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, in the areas of Emotional Intelligence, Communication, Professional Presentation, Public Relations, Community Services, Leadership, and Management. In sharing the Dhamma, Bro. Billy researches discoveries from the fields of Neuroscience and Psychology to present teachings of the Buddha from a scientific perspective.
