Monks and Nuns Pindapata 2014

Sunday, 16 November 2014:

SJBA held Pindapata (going for alms round) for 34 monks and nuns in conjunction with SJBA’s Nun’s Novitiate Program 2014.

This Pindapata was an overwhelming success, and we have so many devotees lining the streets of Section 14/1 and 14/2, Subang Jaya to offer food and requisites generously.

The Organising Committee and Exco of Subang Jaya Buddhist Association (SJBA), would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all who have contributed towards this meritorious deed.

EDUCARE 2014

on Sunday, 14 Dec 2014 @9.00am.
at SJBA Vihara

Educare was initiated by Venerable B. Saranankara Nayara Maha Thero of the Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple in Sentul in 2001, with the objective to relief the financial burden of parents by distributing school items to their children to begin a new school term.

Starting from 2006, Subang Jaya Buddhist Association organise this meritorious project. This year, Subang Jaya Buddhist Association is distributing school items to an estimated 600 needy students in Subang Jaya / USJ / Sunway / Sungei Wei and rural areas.

We strongly believe our noble task can be achieved with the continuous support of generous Organisations, Donors, Devotees and Well Wishes.
