Mid-Autumn festival is here and SJBA is celebrating this auspicious event on Saturday, 6th September, 2014 with our Mooncake Family Night.

Mid-Autumn festival is here and SJBA is celebrating this auspicious event on Saturday, 6th September, 2014 with our Mooncake Family Night. It is a fun-filled night to celebrate with your family, especially so if you have young children as SNOWBALL THE CLOWN is around to entertain you with magic show and ventriloquism with his puppets. And in line with SJBA’s effort in promoting a caring and compassionate community, we are inviting underprivileged children from Ti-Ratana Welfare Society to join us in our celebration. What’s more, these 40 underprivileged children have provided us with a wish-list. So all members and devotees who want to fulfill their dream, please contact Sis Lily at 03-56348181 / 56315299 for the items they have wished for. Last but not least, remember to bring your lantern along for the traditional lantern procession round the temple to end the night.

DINNER WILL BE SERVED, however we encourage you to bring some desserts to share with everyone.

So please bring your family, neighbours and friends to SJBA on Saturday, 6th September 2014 to join us in our celebration. Program as follows:

7.00 pm Arrival of children from Ti-Ratana, members and devotees

7.15 pm Puja at Main Shrine Hall

7.30 pm Dinner is served

8.30 pm
Welcome Speech
Snowball The Clown
Fulfilling Children’s Wish-list
Lantern Procession round the temple.

Please support this worthy cause and save the environment by helping to send your recyclables to SJBA on Sunday18 May 2014

Our SDS students will be there to experience the sweat and joy of protecting the environment and to save our Mother Earth!!

The collection of recyclable items starts from 8.45 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. at the corridor, next to the Shrine Hall (near the exit gate).  Please come and support !!

PAPER :                   All sorts of papers/newspapers/carton and paper boxes/magazines etc.
ALUMINIUM:       Soft Drink cans/Beer Cans
METAL/IRON:      Food cans/tins/all metal products
CLOTHES:               Men/Ladies/Children garments. [Only useable conditions]
GLASS:                    All glass bottles.[Jam/sauce etc..]
PLASTICS :            All plastic bottles. [Shampoo/detergent/mineral water/Plastic ware etc.]
